Every piece is one of a kind: no two bamboo culms share a node.
bâms lamps come from our own bamboo grove, grown, harvested and treated by us. The shades are Yanomami basketry, brought from the Amazon. Alongside the natural fibres, some pieces carry a raw stone base and details in copper and brass.
Light passes through the Yanomami shade and reveals the drawing of each culm. Because every bamboo has a different node, no two pieces are alike.

every piece, its own story
Our lamps are handmade in bamboo, a natural material in which no two pieces are alike. The different species, tones, thicknesses and characteristics of the bamboo give each lamp its own look and identity. That is why the pieces shown here are references: the lamp you order may show natural variations from the images. This diversity also lets each piece be personalised to your taste, choosing between different types, tones and characteristics of the bamboo.
